On June 26, 2026, the Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley had the privilege of welcoming Olympian Queen Harrison Claye in partnership with LA28 Day of Sport, the organization preparing Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Mrs. Claye, a Richmond, Virginia native, was the first track-and-field athlete from Virginia Tech to compete in the Olympics.
