Orientation Process

Any boy or girl between the ages of 6 and 17 is welcome at the Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley.  To join, follow these steps:


1.  Prospective members must attend a new member orientation with a parent or guardian— no exceptions will be made .  During orientation, attendees will learn about the Club's policies, rules, and programs, and will take a tour of our facility. 

2.  Complete the membership application and submit required supporting documents, which include proof of address, proof of income, a recent report card, proof of age, and proof of kindergarten completion for children 6 years old.  Examples of proof of address include a current utility bill, California ID, or any correspondence.  Examples of proof of income include a recent pay stub or tax returns. 

3.  Pay the $26 annual membership fee.  This fee is per child and is good for one full year.  


Please note : Applications will not be accepted and/or processed until ALL sections are complete and ALL required supporting documents are turned in with cash payment.

Orientations are held at our site, please remember new members must attend with parent or guardian.

Please call to schedule your orientation today! 

Orientation starts promptly at 6:00 pm, and we recommend attendees arrive 10-15 minutes early.  Once orientation begins, we will not allow latecomers to join the orientation.

Upcoming orientation dates: Due to the ongoing pandemic, our Club is now offering virtual orientations through Zoom.
