These Club programs help develop physical fitness, reduce stress, and promote a positive use of leisure time, appreciation for the environment, and interpersonal skills.
Triple Play is a comprehensive health and wellness program. It strives to improve the overall health of Club members ages 6-17 by increasing daily physical activity, teaching them about good nutrition, and helping them develop healthy relationships.
In 2016, the Lakers launched Junior Lakers, where the team works with youth in Los Angeles to develop fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community involvement.
The Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley offers an Esports program available to all members ages 12-17. Esports is competitive video gaming. At the Club's Esports program, members learn important lessons in teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. Additionally, they get the opportunity to learn about the fast-growing industry of video games.
